We are committed to the health, wellbeing and happiness of your pet while in our care. In leaving your pet with us, you agree to the terms and conditions below. These terms and conditions are designed to ensure the safety and security of all parties involved.

  • Drop offs and pick ups are undertaken during our operating hours. Pick up or drops off outside these times must be in agreement with us and will incur a $50 fee. We may refuse an after hours service in certain circumstances.

  • While the proprietors and their employees will take all reasonable care, we will not be held responsible for injury, death, escape or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to your pet. Whilst we will take every reasonable care and precaution, boarding your pet is entirely at your own risk.

  • We will do our best to ensure that everything you bring is returned to you in good condition, but cannot take responsibility for any items lost, damaged, destroyed or soiled. This includes items such as bedding, collars, toys, carry cages etc. We will not accept any bean bag style bedding or toys which we deem may create issues with the other dogs, such as squeaky toys.

  • We may take and use photos of your pets for marketing purposes. If you do not wish your photos of your pet to be used you will advise us.

  • In order to protect all our guests, no pets are admitted without proof of current vaccinations. This can be provided in the form of a vaccination card or booklet, otherwise your veterinarian can give you copies or your pets record.

  • If your pet is not up to date with their vaccinations, we have the right to refuse to board them. Once vaccinated a stand-down period will apply before they can be allowed back on the premises.

  • You have provided us with all the information concerning your pet, including its sociability, behavioural traits, special diets, allergies or medication.

  • You understand we operate a communal interactive group environment within the dog kennels and you accept the risks involved.

  • We reserve the right to refuse to board any pet that is clearly unwell, lacks the required vaccinations or shows the potential for negative behaviour that may place other animals and staff at risk.

  • Pets that are boarding will have recently been treated for worms and fleas prior to arrival.

  • Should your pet become unwell and require a veterinary assessment, we will consult with your vet or a vet local to us. Depending on the circumstances, we will attempt to contact you but we will be guided by the attending vet concerning the wellbeing of your pet. Any costs incurred will be at your expense.

  • You consent for us to contact your vet to access health and vaccination records history if required.

  • If your pet is on medication, we will dispense as per the vets instructions. Please ensure you bring enough to cover the period of their stay. A small charge will apply for the dispensing of medication.

  • If your pet is on a special diet, you are welcome to bring their own food for us to serve. There will be no reduction in fee for this.

  • Female dogs in season will not be accepted for boarding. If your dog comes on heat while boarding you must provide an emergency contact that can collect your dog immediately.

  • Entire male dogs or incompatible dogs are still accepted; however they may be housed away from other dogs.

  • Fees are charged at a per day rate and will start on the day of arrival. Pick ups before 11am will not incur a charge for the day.

  • Payment is required in full upon pick up unless you have prepaid your booking. We accept eftpos, credit card or cash.

  • You agree to pay all charges relating to your pet, including additional fees for an entire male, medication dispensing, heated rooms etc.

  • We reserve the right to charge for all days booked, including unused days, in the event that your pet is picked up before the due date of departure.

  • Cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to drop off will incur 1 day charge.

  • In the event of arrears or overdue payment notice in writing, we shall have the right to dispose of the animals. This shall not release you, the owner, from liability for any unpaid fees or charges. (Abandoned pets disposed of 14 days after due pick up date).

  • You will notify us if anyone else intends to collect your pet. If an unknown person attempts to collect your pet, you will be contacted otherwise refusal may be given.

  • Pick-ups outside our standard operating hours need to be prearranged, but will also incur a fee of $50.

  • If your dog has not been a guest at Vin View Pet Lodge, we reserve the right to assess their suitability for doggy daycare. This may involve them undergoing an assessment prior to it being accepted.

  • If your dog shows signs of ongoing anti-social behaviour during day play, we reserve the right to refuse them in the future. Not all dogs are suited to day play.

  • We may suggest specific days for your dog to attend Canine-to-5, based on the groups we have already and their temperament.

  • Day play is only available during week days (Monday-Friday). During peak periods we may limit or suspend our Canine-to-5 service. We will advise you 2 weeks prior if this is to occur. Peak periods include school holidays & public holidays.

  • Doggy day care is not available over the Christmas and New Year holiday period. Please contact us for the finish and start dates.

  • Food is not given to dogs during day play, however if your dog is a puppy and requires lunch, you may provide us with their food and we'll happily feed it.

  • Payment is required at the time of drop off or pick up unless you have made prior arrangements with us.
