Terms and Conditions

OUR COMMITMENT

We are committed to the health, well being and happiness of your pet while in our care. In leaving your pet with us, you agree to the terms and conditions below.

These terms and conditions are designed to ensure the safety and security of all parties involved. 

GENERAL
  • Drop offs and pick ups are undertaken during our operating hours. 

  • While the proprietors and their employees will take all reasonable care and precautions, we will not be held responsible for injury, death, escape or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to your pet, boarding your pet is entirely at your own risk.

  • We will do our best to ensure that everything you bring is returned to you in good condition, but cannot take responsibility for any items lost, damaged, destroyed or soiled. We will not accept any bean bag style bedding or toys which we deem may create issues with the other dogs, such as squeaky toys.

  • We may take and use photos of your pets for marketing purposes. If you do not wish your photos of your pet to be used you must advise us. 

  • Pets that are not claimed within 14 days after due pick up are classified as abandoned. We shall have the right to dispose of the animals as we see fit. This shall not release you, the owner, from liability for any unpaid fees or charges. 

  • We reserve the right to refuse to board any pet who we deem to be unsuitable for our kennels/cattery. 

VACCINATIONS

  • In order to protect all our guests, no pets are admitted without proof of current vaccinations. This can be provided in the form of a vaccination card or booklet, copies of your pets record from the veterinarian or via MyRover.co

  • If your pet is not up to date with their vaccinations, we will refuse to board them.

  • Pets that are boarded will recently have been treated for worms and fleas prior to arrival. If you pet displays signs of worms/fleas we reserve the right to provide treatment and charge you for this.

HEALTH & WELFARE

  • You will provide us with all the information concerning your pet, including its sociability, behavioural traits, special diets, allergies or medication.

  • We reserve the right to refuse to board any pet that is clearly unwell or requires medical attention not disclosed to us prior to drop off

  • We reserve the right to refuse to board any pet that shows the potential for negative behaviour that may place other animals and/or staff at risk.

  • You understand we operate a communal interactive group environment within the dog kennels and you accept the risks involved.

  • Not all dogs are suitable for the communal environment, we reserve the right to determine the type of accommodation for your dog. 

  • If your dog shows signs of anti-social behaviour or creates an unsafe environment for other dogs and staff we reserve the right not to mix it with other dogs and/or refuse to board it. 

  • You consent for us to contact your vet to access health and vaccination records & treatment history if required.

  • Should your pet become unwell and require a veterinary opinion, we will consult with your vet or a vet local to us. Depending on the circumstances, we will attempt to contact you but we will be guided by the attending vet concerning the well-being of your pet. Any expenses incurred will be paid by you.

  • If your pet is on medication, we will dispense as per the vets instructions. Please ensure you bring enough to cover the period of their stay. 

  • If your pet is on a special diet, you are welcome to bring their own food for us to serve. There will be no reduction in fee for this.

Entire males & Females

  • Female dogs in season will not be accepted for boarding. If you have an entire female dog, you must provide details of an emergency contact person that can collect your dog immediately, should it come in heat while at the kennels. 

  • Entire male dogs are accepted; however they may not be housed in the communal environment. Mixing of entire males with other dogs will be at our discretion. 

  • We do not mix entire males and entire females.

Charges

  • Fees are charged at a per day rate and will start on the day of arrival, regardless of the time of drop off. Pets collected before 10am are not charged for departure day.  If collection is after 10am, a full day is charged. 

  • Payment is required in full upon pick up unless you have prepaid your booking. We accept eftpos, credit card or cash.

  • You agree to pay all charges relating to your pet, including additional fees, such as for an entire male, transport, vet fees. 

  • You will notify us if anyone else intends to collect your pet. If an unknown person attempts to collect your pet, you will be contacted or refusal to pick up may be given.

  • From 1 January 2023, if you are a new customer you will be required to pay a deposit to secure your first booking. The deposit is a 2 day charge and is refundable up to 4 days prior to your booked drop off date. 

Cancellation charges & CHANGEs to bookings

  • If you change your booking to shorten the length of stay at the time of drop off or after you have dropped your pet/s off you will still be charged as per your original booking.

  • We may be unable to accommodate changes to your booking due to availability of space.

  • Bookings cancelled 3 days or less prior to the drop off date will incur a cancellation fee of 2 days charge per animal. This includes reducing the number of animals booked. 

  • From 01 January 2023 No -shows will incur a flat fee of $80. Another booking will not be taken until this is paid.

Day boarding

  • Day boarding is only available during the week days.

  • During peak periods we may not accept day boarders. Peak periods include school holidays and public holidays.

  • There is no day boarding available from 16 December to 10 January

  • Food is not given to dogs who are boarding for the day.
